The game system will be in 3D and the graphics will be closer to Tekken 6. However, the company is developing Tekken X Street Fighter on the basis of the Tekken 6 fighting game. Namco Bandai Games is not part of the development team.
The game engine is based on the one of Street Fighter IV, the characters of Tekken are modeled in cel-shading just like the characters of Street Fighter. The game was released in 2012 on PS3, Xbox 360, Windows and PS Vita. The game was announced at Comic Con 2010 in San Diego. This is the first crossover featuring the Street Fighter and Tekken series. Street Fighter X Tekken ( ストリートファイターX鉄拳, Sutorīto Faïta Kurosu Tekken ? ) (Pronounced Cross ) is a video game to fight jointly developed by Capcom and Dimps and published by Capcom.
